It was a beautiful and peaceful place, the site of old farms actually. It is hard to believe there were two horrible battles here.

Trip North: Manassas
While visiting the Nelsons we were able to go to the Manassas National Battle Field (that is Bull Run for those of you North of the Mason-Dixon.) It was a great place to visit and the kids loved running around.
They LOVED the cannons!
