Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas everyone! I hope everyone is having a good holiday. Here is Jena with one of her presents. We got her a play kitchen for Christmas because she loves the one at school so much. She had a good morning and loved all her gifts.

Two of a kind, working on a full house

As most of you know by now, we are expecting another baby in July. Now that my class is over, I will try to update our progress more often. So far, everything is going well. It is hard to believe I am already 9 weeks. I guess I just haven't had time to think about it. We are busy getting ready for Christmas. We are having our dinner early on Saturday because Roger and my mom both have to work on Christmas. We should have a good crowd, Mom, my brother Ben and his wife Kayliegh, and my uncle Bernie and his girlfriend Sharon.

Food for thought

I usually just put up pictures and stuff on this blog, not my thoughts. But today I felt the need to post something. I can't tell you how shocked I was to see Omaha, the place I grew up, in the news for such a terrible thing. This week's shooting was a terrible thing and another reminder that we should all try to take care of each other and let everyone know they are not alone. That someone so young felt such despair and that others were caught in the fall out is truely heart breaking.

Here she is at her Halloween Party at school. She loved the bouncer so much she didn't want to leave. She has no fear.

Grand Reopening
